All I Want For Christmas Is…

Though there are many (Material) things that I would love to have for Christmas (and any other time), I have managed to narrow my “Wish List” down to just three (3) things that would make me the happiest person in the world today – or 25th December 2011.
On my Wish List there are three lines that read:
2. For the Powers of the World to stop for just one moment in their lives and think, remember, help and assist all those other people who are not able to celebrate this “Unified” time of year. From David Cameron to Barack Obama, the Pope to those people running Government’s from behind the curtain – Your Fellow man are not all as lucky, well off, wealthy or healthy as others believe them to be.
3. For this world to be here Tomorrow, and the Day After Tomorrow for the Human Race to live in Unity. Where the thought of waking up in the morning carries no burden of fear for losing jobs, lives, and where the next generations can look with pride in the eyes of their Mothers and Fathers for the world that they have prepared for them and their generations.
Strange is the thought that many people have this belief that because I am a Director of my own Company, that I have this “Money Tree” in my back garden where I can help myself at any given time. My only answer to these people is this: “A Double-Dip Recession is forecast in the UK for this Christmas and the Vendors, Directors, Proprietors, Owners and Traders among us are far from the point of being comfortably secure for a better Christmas this year. While Politicians play their Power Games and the Public struggle against the tide that is bringing Empiric Companies to the ground, what ‘I want for Christmas’ is irrelevant in the sense that ‘Family Presence’ is everything for me, not that of those material needs.”
Stark, Raw, call this whatever you please, but the person who can turn around and say the Number One thing on their “Christmas Wish List” is Riches, Cars, Platinum or Gold based gifts are no less the cause of our problems than the REAL threats that will bring this world – Our World – to a complete stand-still.
Even a Bachelor has Family, so why yearn and lust after something that will never stand the test of time, while Family will stay in the minds, hearts and souls of man for Eternity?

Thank you for your response.
You have a real grasp of what is important.Thank you, Elle.
I believe that as long as I have my Family, Real Friends and a roof over my head with cupboards that have food stocked, then that's it for me, I'm happy. And, as long as everyone else in the world has someone, something to hold onto which will get them by or give them "Hope", then I'm happy then, too.
Thanks again.
