WryteStuff – My Inspiration

There have been many of my Niche Writing friends who have told me that I am crazy! That to write for an Article Site for reasons that others wouldn’t is just out right crazy! And, they have told me that for reasons that I provide, the most views I would get is below 100. Well, that isn’t exactly the truth of it all.
The one person that put me onto Article Niche Sites is himself an Article Niche Writer, as well as a Published Author of a “Self Help” novel for those that lack “Personal Confidence”. One of the top three websites he suggested was this one – or SearchWarp.com, to be more precise – that offered a lot more than other Niche Sites on the Internet. So, armed with only three articles, one of which was a Story-Short written back in the Crazy 1990’s, I signed up and submitted them with the expectations of getting a low view rate. Leaving it for a couple of days I returned to WryteStuff and looked at the statistics, which shocked me to see more than one hundred views. It was now then that I started to look around the website and view other Members Posts, some of which I believe were and are really good, while some are a part of my very own “Don’t Go There List”.
The inspiration that I have maintained, whether on WryteStuff or the other sites, have come from the Communities where one will suggest an idea, while another will suggest the overall structure of the idea, until eventually my work creates itself fully and self-explanatory for everyone to read, understand, comment and in some cases contact me on a more personal level. The beauty of it all – and probably a “Heads Up” to anyone who wishes to hear a suggestion on the perfect example of how to write an article – the members are never aware that they are actually helping you out by surrendering these three main steps.
When I try to explain this to my Writer Friends who prefer the more elegant and prestigious Niche Sites that don’t offer anything except for the low financial return on their agreed cut of profit from the advertisements. I cannot help but to tell people my very own beliefs behind why I write, why I ask nothing for reading my material and why that has finally paid off in the long run with a Publishing Contract. But I appear to be speaking to those with deaf ears and the attitudes that tell me I’m crazy for posting Story-Shorts, Novels and other written material for people to read FREE, is becoming annoying.
With WryteStuff and the other two Niche Sites that I am a respected member of, if it was all (or in any part) about the money, I would be typing 24 hours a day opposed to the 20 hours of writing, two hours of being a Father and the two hours I sleep – so you see “Writing” is more than art form for me, it’s a born and bred occurrence that not everyone gets the chance to have. Maybe I write too much, but my Father always said that, whenever and for however long you have something to say, you will always have something to write about.”
My feeling of comfort is always felt when I sign into WryteStuff (if ever I sign out), giving me more reason to stay focused on the Assignments ahead. As many will already know, I don’t do all of them, though there are times when I think that maybe I should just do one in line with the assignment brief. At the end of the day I believe that if it isn’t worth saying, then it isn’t worth saying at all, and besides, what would be the point in writing a negative article just for the sake of doing an article to falsify the outcome?
As a Director of a Multimedia and Technology Company, I have found it much easier to talk about other topics rather than the products that I actually sell. But then I have always remained a person who is always thinking from outside the box, rather than from the inside where everyone else looks out of. It’s a Gene thing I suppose, with the dashing of Rebellion, maybe. For anyone who wishes to know just how dedicated my Family and Friends think I am to writing, then take a look at the details below. For those that are easily shocked by rising interest rates and Wall Street graphs, I would firmly suggest you stop reading this article now.
In The Works:
17 Novels (Started), of these 5 are near completion, 10 have one to two chapters already completed and two have been requested from US Publishing Houses at a three quarters complete each.
239 Story-Shorts (Started), 130 near completion, 109 progressively in progress.
1,572 Poetry pieces (Completed) with no more in progress or planned.
108 Article Niche Pieces (Started), 79 (Completed), 29 in progress (Not including this one – Jack took me by surprise on this one.
500+ BlogSpot Niche’s (Many progressively in progress)
For me, I don’t feel any different than when I was younger and picking up the pen to write. For others it would seem that I may have a problem that cannot be diagnosed as anything else except “Genetic Writers Syndrome”, and I can say with hand on heart that I love to write and that is OK with me. While I still write, I know I'm still alive.

Top-level comments on this article: (3 total)Hi MKDS,
i just read your article it was nice to have an insight of a true writer and how this site has
been an inspiration for you. I wish you all the best for your future writings thanks for sharing this article with us.
Tania.Thank you, Tania, for your kind Comment. WryteStuff has opened up a whole new world for me - a World that in hind sight I should have discovered a long time ago - where the Community spirit is worth its weight in gold, as well as their Posts.
As I was taken by surprise to write this article, and that I should have been more prepared to Submit a responding Article, my only defence is that right now I am working on a more in-depth and Up-Close & Personal Article that will hopefully enlighten everyone further. As this article here was rushed (In my opinion), the next will not be as vague or stretched Writer's Brief with similar tones in writing.
Thank you again for your response and I wish you a very good weekend.
Hi MKDS,
It's alright as long you love writing on this site. I always believe anything involved in money will give one dissatisfaction so I don't care much about it. Passion means more for me.
1990's was Crazy for the Wild Wide World.Thank you, Hilda, for your Comment.
Yes, you are absolutely right about the "Involvement" of money. A stranger person I am going to appear to you and everyone else now, when I say that my belief is that "Money is the root of all evils in this world. Everyone wants it, but not everyone can get it." A more morale approach in people understanding me.
I have been driving so long and hard to get a Publisher for my work - any piece of my work - that along the way, my eyes have seen much while putting pen to paper. And, admittedly, at the start I was looking for financial stability through my written efforts, but now I am a more stable minded person who rejects Greed.
I write for the passion of writing and for the end result in which it gives me - Pleasure, Satisfaction and Closure on one shard of an huge window. If that makes any sense.
Thank you again and have a great weekend, Hilda.
PS. Regarding the 1990's being Crazy, you don't know the half of it (Speaking from a United Kingdom Resident's point of view).Haha... guess I really don't know the whole story of the Crazy 1990's. I was thinking the Internet frenzy was so mad during those years that everybody seemed to be making some money overnight from their sites. What ?Yes, that's accounting for some of it and I dare say you mean the Dot Com Generation. For me, however, I want and need to make money from my website and my Company for family security and to survive, but make that money fairly and without tricking the Customers.
Parts of the Crazy 1990's were far less the making of money, rather than the Social and Personal aspects of living. Mad Culture changes and retro catalysts that returned to re-reach a younger generation, that kind of thing.
Thank you so much for your Comment, Hilda and all the best.
I can relate to what you say about WryteStuff. I think this place is in a class of its own. It's a home, it's a community - and the traffic is great, even though it dipped with Google's big betrayal.Thank you, Jennifer for your Comment. Yes, WryteStuff has become my second home and I would never change the way I feel about it and the people here.
For me, it is the matters of writing good articles to share and read the good articles shared with everyone else. To take the criticism without adverse reaction, but as a form of knowing that people of all walks of life are at least taking note and giving valuable input into the articles we all post.
I have no idea what Google did, but, I do know through being a Company Director that Google are going through a very messy and expensive Law Suit at the moment. It may well spell the end to some of their operations throughout the globe.
Again, thank you for your Comment and all the best.
