The Gourmet Cafe stands on The Shambles, Wetherby, Leeds. Its on-street seating allowing an ambient visit in the nice weather, while inside the upstairs seating serves as extra space for customers.

Serving hot and cold food and drinks throughout the day, which includes Home Made meals, The Gourmet Cafe, is one of our three favoured Coffee stops within Wetherby Town Centre.

As The Gourmet Cafe was originally the Coffee Latte stop some three years ago, it still remains a well visited place.

Latte Review.

Many would (and have) put on a strained face when we say our favourite hot drink is Latte with Cinnamon Sprinkles! In some instances, we have been questioned about our sanity in regards to the custom coffee.

Latte with (or without) the addition of Cinnamon has added a better, enjoyable and more palatable choice to the partaking of the Great Coffee Challenge.

Preparation

Made by five different staff members at The Gourmet Cafe in Wetherby, we have found that each is different. One of the best -name aside- is the preparation; grinding the coffee bean (Super Creamer), filling an eighth of the cup with the filtered bean before the milk is steamed and poured into the glass. Four of whom pour the steamed milk straight into the glass, while the one member of staff delicately layers the cup by intermittently spooning the milk. This is, of course, how a real Latte is made.

Storm Technologies Rating.

9/10 based on merit for the Service, Preparation and the palatability of the Latte.
