Suburbanites Take On the Mighty
The weekend of chaos and anarchy-like disruption that Britain saw has been the focus point of many people, many of whom feel the need to know just why it happened so quickly and why it happened for so long - and why it happened at all. The belief that it was because of a local man (Apparently a Gangster) being shot by the Police Authorities SO19, has been denied by a large number of the General Public, while others are agreeing that the events leading up to the “Rioting” and “Looting” was a picture of the things that are to come around the whole country.
Speaking as a Family Man, my endeavours to get off the ground my own “Start-Up” company has been difficult, to say the least. With no help from the Government available for people like me, it has been a simple case of having to go it alone and hope for the best. My intentions of continuing a successful company are still in place, as is the company after nine months of trading.
If by some ingenious plan by the Government they were to conduct a Survey on the Public and of how they feel about certain aspects of life, including the way in which the country is developing. The outcome of that Survey would undoubtedly paint a picture of why the unrest of “Riots” and “Looting” happened in London and other cities across the UK. In retrospect, I very much doubt it was anything to do with the shooting by police.
There are so many companies out there today that push the line, some attempt to push the line in their favour and yet they are ridiculed by the very same companies that have, themselves pushed the line for gain. We are of course talking about the Mighty Tesco’s chain (And believe me when I say, this is not a proud given referral that I give), who nine times out of ten get the green light to erect their huge warehouse-like stores across the UK. Far be it for me, as a Director, as a Family man, as a member of the Public, to take this entity on (Because an Entity is all that it is).
For far too long the Mighty Tesco has burrowed its way through the lands of our country. In its wake it has, admittedly, created new jobs, both for the structural building of the store and for the people who sit like robots behind the tills. But there is a darker side to this company and its reasons for opening stores in “YOUR AREA”, and to be frank, it’s not good.
There are more Tesco stores in Britain than any other store which retail the same stock. This is FACT. The Tesco name, however, when you look into it deeply enough will show that its main investors; the ones that pump money into the company for a lucrative return from its overall profit, are none other than…Yes, you’ve guessed it “The Government”, or MP’s, Councillors and Official’s that are connected to Parliament. Now I’m not saying that the Mighty Tesco is firmly secure in construction for erecting a store anywhere because of its involvement with Parliament Influences, but what I am saying is this. If I had an investment of thousands or millions in a project that had to progress for the financial security of that company, then I would do my very best to assist – Wouldn’t you?
When we look around it seems that all we are seeing is a slow deconstruction of the world’s infrastructure, whilst in the background we see war’s, famine, bankruptcy, violence, public disorder, public outrage, crime, disorganisation and, to put a finer key word on it “Anarchy”. As each country is dealing with their own money problems, another country appeals for financial help, and vice-versa. It is this that has placed a weight on the Global Economy as a whole, and something that will not be resolved any time soon.
As a Director of my own company, I can openly admit that the main companies that will survive this inevitable strain will be those that provide “Essential’s” to human living; food, water, utilities. The rest will eventually exhaust themselves and become faded memories of the past – just like Lewis’s, Woolworth’s and other mega stores that once stood tall. The one necessity that I purposely left until last is, of course, the “Internet”. The Internet plays a huge role in all of this, as it has from the very moment it became widely available for everyone.
Having many Conduits available to us – Ebay, Amazon, Free Index – we buy and sell both New and Used Products daily, whereas the Legitimate Companies have a more restricted space where Tax and VAT is added, whether it be New or Used Products that they sell or re-sell. Everything it would seem is becoming a part of the “Claw Back” by Central Government for its mistakes made in Bad Investments through the past few years, though nobody is admitting or confessing the fact that it was THEY who brought the recession to the forefront and indeed brought it back for a second time.
All of this exposure which has been dropped heavily on our countries has unleashed an IMP upon our very Society; insecurities, fear, loathing, intolerance, violence and even murder. The very structure in which our country has been based upon is falling, while the once graceful manufacturers that claimed their interest in the UK are now moving away from the country for a more cheaper and lucrative establishment. Why pay through the nose in huge Tax payments when you can operate from a Tax Haven? But while these operate outside the UK, we find that there is no money being put back into the British Economy – am I right?
Though there are many large companies out there who believe that they are doing no wrong – and we are not talking about jealousy over money, currency, spondulies or dosh here – the United Kingdom Citizen is writhing in anger at the point that British Heritage and Household names are being torn away from the landscapes. No company can expect to bully or force their way to being the Top Source for cheaper goods and expect society to sing their praises for destroying commerce and other businesses. Even when the argument raised by these Colossal Companies use the excuse of “It’s time for change”, we cannot accept the fact that it is THEIR change they are trying to incorporate into our very societies. A little harsh I admit on my part for the way in which the address is made, but less harsh than that in which has been appearing throughout our countryside over the past ten years.
Can anyone in the UK at all speak up and say that they would attempt to open a new “Start-Up” business less than a couple of miles away from a Tesco, ASDA, PC World, or Sainsbury superstore? The additional question would be would anyone have the balls to open a “Food Supermarket” next door to any of the Collossal stores mentioned and say they are happy of the healthy competition?
