How Safe Are We?

A man's house is his castle, right? That is the saying when we talk of family safety and security. The actual saying comes from way back in a time when we could leave the keys in our doors and even leave our doors open, only to return hours later to find everything still in place. But that was in a time unfamiliar to our present generations, and being as realistic as possible, the truth of the matter is it will never be the case any time in the future.

Grandparents will tell their Grandchildren that times have changed so much over the past 50 years, and this is absolutely true. Change is not just that of buying, spending, business and weather - but also Family Values - which has brought much to its knees in its wake; governments, justice, law & order.

While the world is in this state of "Economic Collapse" so too is our Communities and the Community Spirit as a whole; the once polite neighbour would rather see you burgled, hurt, killed or even kidnapped if it meant them being saved from the threat and tyranny of the world’s rising violence. The average teenager would be easily agitated and forced into retaliation than walking away from a fight otherwise considered worthless. The burglar and street robber will expose themselves more to carry out their crimes than to conceal their intentions, and the overall youth of today would rather revolt against the police than run scared or be deterred from doing what they want.

So, How Safe Are We?

Already in the UK we are seeing various forms of unstable habits that although they are isolated, the presence of Rebellion is in fact present within all of these acts. And, even though our Police forces throughout the UK tell us that Crime Figures are down, but it goes without saying, Crimes are up in volume - not numbers - and it is these crimes that show very clearly that we are neither Safe nor are we Immune from the coming of the storm.

While the world leaders scramble to get themselves out of debt, we in Britain face the darkest of all days while our Government remain ignorant to the public's problems. More police officers are taken off the streets because the spending cuts make it justified to do so, the absence of police presence that should be safe-guarding our streets during the day and night are no longer that which is available, and where there are CCTV cameras on our street corners there are no longer the staff to monitor them. Our Towns and Cities have been left open to vulnerability, only being dealt with by means of Priority; if you are not a Priority, then the bad news is that you will be a victim of Britain's Overspill, its Overspending, its Greed and its Selfishness.

David Cameron may tell people to "Think positive" and that we are all "In this together", but at the end of the day not everyone - especially myself - are in the same Luxurious position as the Cameron’s; nice clothes, cars, family stability, freedom.

While the politicians travel to conferences all over the world on OUR behalf and give their weak and feeble excuses that they are bound by various rules, laws and regulations that restrict them from helping the average Citizen in Britain, our country is being chipped away by intolerances and racial intolerances that our previous generations fought so hard to keep at bay. While the stability of the Pound is in crisis, so is the stability of the Public's confidence in the Government.

A Brighter Future.

The future at the moment is all dependant on the 'Economy' and without sorting out the economy first as  last, we could start seeing huge cracks which will cause a 'Ripple Effect', one which can pull the country from its slump - or break the UK completely.

As to the Residential problems regarding the general public, we see much that is needed for the protection of The Voters; less spent on playing each Society off against one another, more concentration on the UK Born Resident when it involves the need for employment - Prioritise and maintain work openings that safeguard the UK Voter, initialize and address the importance of Education where the result of Exam Passes give jobs to the young people who are leaving School, College or University, not over-shadow their achievements by ‘Side-Lining’ them for those that are cheaper to employ.

When the politicians – especially the ConDems – refrain from further “Advertising” their party by speaking loudest in their Campaigns and yet resetting the rules and statements that they put down originally when they return to parliament, it is clear that the Country as a whole will begin to pick up, if only by the ways of Mass Communities putting their faith in their neighbour once more. What this country is asking for is a “True and Honest Politician”, and until that day comes we will have to sit it out and wait until one comes along.

The greatest shame of this country was that Nick Clegg became a complete and utter failure to the public people, his Policies and Points of Change were in the Nations interests – except for the Conservative voters, of course – which had the Liberal Democrats winning at the post. He was young enough to know exactly what the younger generation needed, he was insatiably passionate about the turning around of this country by means of “Divulging the Truth” and most of all, he was the last best hope of saving the United Kingdom from that which is about to come – Recession, Community Breakdown, Commercial Collapse and finally Revolution.

Evolution or Revolution?

Nobody in the United Kingdom –or any country- should be itching for any kind of Revolution. The next step in the human build of “Togetherness” should be that of Evolution, and the ability to adapt within the times here and now and of what is ahead of us all, because if we don’t, the last 70,000 years or so of man will have been a total waste of time. Revolutions bring many seriously bad things to a country, to its people and to its future days as a free land such as the UK. What we have built up in the past generations will without a doubt be “Deconstructed” and eventually what we see is a “Real World” just like Mad Max, just like Judge Dredd, just like The Planet of the Apes…Ok, maybe not like Judge Dredd, but the message and warning is almost the same.

While there may be the “Man Behind The Curtain”, “A New World Order”, or even “ A Braxus” on the horizon, the bottom line is this: “If you live beyond your means and believe that the country can sustain the cost, then spend, spend, spend. If you live with the thought that Banks cannot go Bankrupt then spend, spend, spend. And, if you believe that the world tomorrow is going to be brighter for your children, then spend, spend, spend…because sooner or later, the world will break and all that will be left to show for it will be the luxuries that we neither really wanted, nor what we really needed.”
